About The Book

Why Write an Autobiography?

Writing an autobiography is frequently done for one of the following reasons: to share your life story so people can relate to it, leave a lasting impression, make peace with the past, leave your mark by, or preserve your memories through a piece of writing.

Why April E. Diggs Wrote this Autobiography

Autobiographies are written for a plethora of different reasons. I’ve written this book in hopes of sharing my life story as an inspiration to those who read it. Through the many lessons, adversities, and trials, I want the reader to walk away from my experiences with lessons and laughter as I journey to heal and make peace with the past.

In each chapter, I seek to motivate the reader to explore the deeper roots and meanings of the Jamaican culture while educating and raising awareness of some of its harsh realities.

April wants to motivate readers to explore the deeper meaning of their Roots and Culture while also educating them. The objective of this book is also to raise communal resources because a substantial amount of the proceeds will be used to pay it forward and promote the characters’ economic development and the overall success of Jamaica and its kind people.

This Autobiography of a young woman’s independent journey to Jamacia is not just refreshing to read but very inspiring.
